I painted during a plein air event at Mercier Orchard a few years back to create this painting. It was done on location, which is what the term "plein air" means. I wanted a different view than most people think about. These trucks were parked at the top of one hill with apple trees, along side the pavilion they use for events. I have held onto this painting for some time. It is now time to let it go. I hope you visit Mercier if you are ever near Blue Ridge, Ga.
