"Blue Morning" is 20"x24" on stretched canvas. It started out as an abstract mark-making experiment. The more I worked on it I started seeing a landscape with tumbling water over some "shelf" rocks. I kept the colors less than realistic, but enjoyed bringing details out of the chaos of the abstracted marks. It made me happy when I arrived at this image, so I considered it a finished painting.
