"Ghost Reds" is a soft pastel, done on an Ampersand Pastelbord. The scene is done from a photograph I took while in the Ghost Ranch area of New Mexico one year. The drive to Ghost Ranch is a beautiful one and this was one of the scenes we stopped to take photos. I love traveling in the Southwest and painting the different scenery they have compared to our "green" scenes in the Southeast!
