This painting was done on location below Melbourne FL along the inter-coastal river. I was teaching a workshop, and this was one of the pieces done in about late February or early March. The moss on those live oak trees turn the most beautiful colors with muted shades of lavender and even some golds. Very muted, but if you look closely when see them in real life, you might be surprised at all the color.
