Sunnyside Farm

This pastel painting is from a photo I took along a highway during travels somewhere in the East. I wish I could be more specific, but I talk loads of photos every time we drive anywhere. The barn was white in the photo, but I wanted something more so I chose the yellow to be a focal area for the painting. It is always fun to change things to fit a mental image of a feeling I had when there. I knew it was a sunny day, so why not choose a "sunny" color!
