Showing Work in Sautee-Nacoochee!
I have four paintings showing with the Southeastern Pastel Society (SPS) at the Sautee-Nacoochee Cultural Center from June 16 through August 6, 2023.
This is in the area of North Georgia near Helen GA. It is such a beautiful drive! It is worth just that to go up.
But there are many artists that belong to this organization showing their work. I enjoyed my drive up to deliver my work and two other artists. We help each other out in that way. One of the others will go pick them up ... that is if they are not sold. The work is for sale at this show!
A teaser ... one of my paintings for you to see! But, remember I have four pastel paintings in this show! This is "Rising to the Sun" and is a 20"x16" pastel that was done plein air (on location) at the Toccoa River. It is well worth the trip up... maybe go to the reception on Saturday (24th - info below) and spend time enjoying the drive, and the works of art!

Below is the address and hours of the Center. And there is way more to this association so I have included the three museums they have listed on their website.
