What I Have Worked On Recently!

So here is what I have most recently worked on. And, I am showing you the last photo I took before leaving the studio two days ago after working on a pastel that is 24" x 18" and please know this is not a finished painting. I refer to these as "in-progress" shots.
Yesterday, I needed to work on one particular tree in an oil painting I want to take to a gallery toward the end of this week. I think it worked. But I don't have a photo of that finish yesterday afternoon. I do have one "in-progress" before that final adjustment to a tree on the upper right side of the painting. I could only see it each time as a "generic" tree shape and not good!
By the way this painting is 36" x 36" and on a gallery wrap canvas ... so no frame will go on this one.

The photo was taken at an angle because of the glare from windows on the upper left corner. This seems to work when I want to post an in-progress shot of what I am working on.
Painting or Writing!
I admit that I don't think about creating a blog post often enough. I vacillate between the thought, "too much drives people away," and "not enough and they forget who your are!"
Those are quite funny to me... how about you? What do you think?
I receive newsletters and blog post notifications and love picking what I want to read on any given day. Sometimes I am overwhelmed and think I need to unsubscribe from a few of them. I am sure this may happen to you as well.
I just read a newsletter that said something about not forgetting my newsletter. It talked about that being one of the best ways I need to stay in touch with those people that want to follow me and know what I have been doing lately.
My next thought is what is the difference in a newsletter and a blog post. I have the ability here on my website to create both of those items. And my next thought is which is best!
I decided to write a blog post about this conundrum ... I know that is a big word! I hope you understand what I mean.
My question for you, my friends and followers ... which would you prefer receiving in your inbox? Does it matter?
I do want to here what you think about my question on receiving notices of newsletter or blog posts. Thank you in advance for responding to me!
These thoughts are an accumulation of ideas and topics I keep coming back to when in my "thinking mode!"
Be sure to comment on them!
