This old homeplace is on my way to purchase apples at the Mercier Apple Orchard which is a fantastic stop if you are near Blue Ridge, GA. I have taken a lot of photos but never painted on location here because the road is too narrow to pull off and do so. I took a chance to quickly stop for a photo because of the light hitting the house and the fall trees on this day. I decided to name it this way to indicate what I saw. It is a place I slow down and take in the view both coming and going around those curves in the road. It always inspires me.
