At this time it is in the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition in Bradenton FL (May - June 2025). The painting was done plein air (on location) in Blue Ridge GA for their plein air event in September 2024. This is a beautiful time of the year for many flowers on a hill in North Georgia. It captured me, so I wanted to try to capture it in oil paint. The scene was so full it was just fun to barely indicate the flowers in front of the trees towering over them from behind. I hope you can mentally transport yourself and enjoy your memories of similar scenes along the road.
