Creating a painting from life can be easy sometimes, and very difficult at others. This one worked from the beginning, if I could keep myself from adding too many things between the tree trunks and you can see a little of what is behind them. I love calling these negative spaces and how much fun they are to paint. I did two on this day, but this was the most successful one and worthy of a frame.
