Many times I start a painting with a composition and it morphs into something else. This is one of those... after several attempts to make the original idea work. But it gives me good bones to try something totally different. Rocks and water are dear to my heart. I love the thought of sitting on a rock with my feet in the water ... in the shade of a tree! I know you probably have done the same thing some time in your life! Enjoy putting yourself mentally here by the cool water!
