I painted this from a photo I took while visiting friends in North Carolina. We drove around so I could take pictures of the countryside. There was a very old historic home out in the country and I loved the little building with an old vehicle you could hardly see inside. The Crepe Myrtle tree was blooming and it gave me something to focus on instead of trying for the vehicle in the barn. I love thinking about the possible stories that go with this scene.
