This scene is from a view at Chateau Meichtry near Ellijay GA. I was painting plein air (on location) with a group of artists at the Chateau. I decided to do the same scene in pastel and one in oil. The only difference is the slight difference in the sunlight because of the movement of the sun from one painting time to the other painting time! It is interesting to see the difference in that small amount of time change and the medium used to do the painting.
