Palm Trees

This oil painting was done as a demonstration at a workshop I taught in Florida. I used the palette knife to teach students how to hold the knife and how to pick up and lay down the paint on the surface. The fronds of the palm contrasted against the beautiful beach sky inspired me to paint this scene. Add the shadows of the palms and the colors of the sand and water, and I am in a bit of my own heaven!

Pricing is at retail price, but it is offered unframed and at my "studies" based pricing structure. The studies pricing is for those paintings I produce that are experimental, demonstrations, and some plein air work... and usually the small pieces that just can't work in the gallery setting. Or it could be a wonderful painting that just has not met its rightful owner yet! It becomes a good value and an opportunity to have some original artwork, or to start your collection!

Shipping will be added to the price, and determined by where it will be shipped.
