"Limelight" is a still life I set up using some dried limelight hydrangeas, my Mom's antique glass vase, art books, and other items on an antique red kitchen table I have owned for a very long time. This was a challenge issued by a friend to paint something I don't normally do... not a landscape! I do enjoy painting still life, but just don't do it very often. It was fun, and adding a little lettering on the book that is Edgar Payne was a fun thing to see who would notice it is about "Outdoor Painting!"
