I have always loved this scene, but find it a little difficult to paint because I want to know what the focus of the painting will be? Sometimes there is no real “focal point” and only a implied story to looking all around the artwork. So, I thought what about behind the trees. What is going on there? That became the name of the painting from that point on. I have enjoyed looking at this for some time before framing it, just to make sure there was nothing else I needed to do to make it significantly better in the eyes of the viewer!
