Georgia Color

This is a little unusual pastel because it is painted on a linen panel. I started an under-painting in pastel planning to do an oil on top of that under-painting. The scene is near of Blue Ridge, GA. It inspires me to paint it every time I see it. This is done from a photograph I took one more time! I seem to never tire of the scene. They are all different, sometimes done in pastel and sometimes in oil ... and many different sizes and views, and times of day depicted. I hope you will enjoy seeing this one and my interpretation this time!
