High Falls Yellow

This painting was done from a photo I took at High Falls which is just South of Atlanta, GA. It is a wonderful park for hiking and picnicking ... and of course to plein air paint or take photographs. I have painted several paintings but different scenes in oil and in pastel from this fantastic park. The yellow tree was so inspiring growing out of the crevices in the big rocks. I couldn’t wait to see what I could do with this scene.
