Natures Melody

This scene is from North Carolina and a place I painted plein air (on location) on my day off when teaching a pastel painting workshop. Creeks or rivers and rocks always make me smile and brings back memories of wading in shallow creeks as a child. The water always reminded me of musical sounds. Don’t you hear the music when you listen to water cascading over rocks?
