This pastel painting was done from a photograph I took at Lake Blue Ridge, near Blue Ridge, GA. I have painted plein air along the lake many times and feel confident to use my photographs to create my "vision" of the subject!
I love when the atmosphere in the background creates a mysterious quality to the painting. The blue was enhanced to create more mystery!
