"Splash" is a 9" x 12" pastel from a photo I took while standing in the ocean at New Smyrna Beach FL. I have visited the Atlantic Ocean all my life and feel quite inspired every time. My series of wave paintings have been very successful and I can't keep any in my home studio! It was wonderful standing in the ocean for over an hour feeling the waves come and go, and watching how they rose, crested and then broke. I love the splashing as it starts curling over!
