"Rock Hopscotch" is an 11"x14" pastel painting on Ampersand Pastelbord. Trees, water and rocks are my favorite nature scene and inspired this painting. This was done in the studio from a photo taken at the Amicalola River in North Georgia. The light on that little bit of greenery growing up through the rocks spoke to me. I knew this would become a painting with all that atmosphere and beauty behind the green!
