Plein Air
My plein air paintings are about capturing the essence of the scene... light, shadow and the real colors of the subject. They sometimes find their way into a frame! Those are the paintings you will see in this collection. Many never see the market and are used in the studio to help me create better studio paintings instead of totally relying on photographs. There are several plein air paintings listed in the "Newest Painting" Collection as well.
