Northeast Georgia Regional Hospital
Gainesville, Georgia
Second Floor - Surgical Waiting Room

There are
four oil paintings that were commissioned for their second floor lobby / surgical waiting room. Two of the paintings are triptychs -- meaning there are three panels that make up one painting. This means I painted eight panels -- the equivalent of eight paintings. They were created on birch cradled panels. These panels are absolutely beautiful in their pristine state before painting on them.

They chose pastel paintings seen on my web site and asked if I could produce them larger in oil or acrylic. The stipulation was they did not have to be exact duplicates, but just have the same colors, perspective, location, subject matter and all over feelling. You can see there is a theme to this waiting room -- serene and relaxing water scenes! All the scenes are from our local North Georgia or surrounding area.

There were six artists, one for each floor, chosen for the new wing of the hospital and a gala reception was held to thank the donors and the artists. The photos are from the hospital and just before the reception.

When you step off the elevator this is right in front of you!

Enigma Cafe
1550 Hwy. A1A
Satellite Beach, Florida 32937

The owners commissioned six paintings for their main dining room. The decor is the palm and it's leaves. I took photos from many local areas and painted to highlight their beautiful palms and scenery. All but one painting has a palm and each has a different variety of palm. I also had photos of the sample fabric and color scheme of the walls to work with when designing the paintings and the colors I would use. The paintings are acrylic on gallery wrap canvas.

Just before the grand opening, they decided one more was needed, and I was able to accommodate them with a painting for the owner's corner booth -- of a beautiful historic boat house. Unfortunately, I do not have a good photo and hope to obtain one soon. The photos you see are taken in the restaurant. I did try to take photos before delivery, but due to the extremely high gloss varnish, they did not turn out and I decided to take photos of them in the restaurant. These give you a better idea of what they do look like!

This restaurant has continental Italian and is a casual
dining spot.
The food is wonderful!

Speaker of the House Suite of Offices
  David Ralston

Our new Speaker of the House, David Ralston, is from the North Georgia area and wanted to show artwork created by the local artists in his area. I felt extremely fortunate to have been chosen as one of the artists! The scenes are from Blue Ridge, GA and Ellijay, GA.

These photos were taken during a meet and greet reception they held for us when the office was completely decorated.
. . . "One of Ralston's favorite pieces of art in his office is entitled, "Dawn of a New Day," an oil on board by Marsha Hamby Savage that portrays the mountains of Blue Ridge. 'It's a new day in the House of Representatives,' he said."
