This painting was done on location
in downtown Woodstock, Georgia in their little city park. I love the
wisteria vine growing up this tree -- and every year I look forward to
all the purple blooms that are hanging down in the upper part of the
tree. This was summer and after the blooms, so I thought I would
capture the twisted nature of these massive vines. The background was
abstracted so the tree would stand out. I enjoyed painting it, and I
hope you enjoy viewing!
