Pastel
9" x 12" Price: $500 This painting was done as a
demonstration only using Schmincke Pastels at Binders Art Supply in
Atlanta, GA. The photograph was taken near Monteagle, Tennessee while
hiking down quite a treacherous pathway. There was no way I could have
painted on location here -- I could only take photographs -- but took
close to 300 while on the hike. Many good ones! Hopefully you can see
that a photograph was not literally copied -- many liberties were taken
with the shapes and colors.
