This painting was done from a
photograph taken near Monteagle, Tennessee in a nature preserve. The
area was too dark and treacherous to try navigating with plein air
equipment -- so I was relegated to taking photographs. This is my first
rendition of the scene -- and I will be trying more. I think I took
about 300 photographs while on this hike. These types of scenes always
make me want to take off my shoes and go wading in the water. Don't you?
